In front of a crowd of 4,623 fans, the No. 15-ranked Florida women's basketball team routed the Mississippi Lady Rebels 75-54 at the O'Connell Center on Sunday afternoon.
Amanda Butler's team jumped out to a big lead, as much as 26 points midway through the second half, to improve to 4-1 in SEC play.
The Gators wore pink shoelaces in memory of Kay Yow.
Florida's bench accounted for 31 points, led by freshman Trumae Lucas.
Steffi Sorensen scored 13 points and grabbed nine rebounds, while Lucas led the team with four steals.
Sharielle Smith led the Gators with ten rebounds.
Florida will next host Kentucky on Thursday at 7 p.m. at the O'Connell Center.
