SAN ANTONIO — The fourth day of practices for the 10th annual U.S. Army All-American Bowl were cut short due to cold temperatures on Thursday.
Several offensive lineman from the East team huddle together for warmth as strong winds and a drop to 34 degrees on the thermometer limited the effectiveness of the drills. The East team practiced for an hour, while the West team returned to the team hotel after 45 minutes.
A press conference was held at the Grand Hyatt hotel in which award finalists were introduced. NFL Hall of Famer Anthony Muñoz was presented with a commendation from the city of San Antonio, had an award for the nation’s top offensive lineman named in his honor and was inducted into the National Hispanic Sports Hall of Fame.
