Florida fans got their first chance to meet the 2009 Gator gymnasts at Meet the Team Day on Sunday. More than 250 fans packed into the Ted Crom Gymnastics Studio, located inside the Stephen C. O’Connell Center. The day’s program included the Gator coaching staff speaking and UF gymnasts giving exhibition routines. The team and coaches also signed team posters following the event. Florida is ranked No. 3 in the GymInfo preseason poll and returns three All-Americans from the squad that finished fourth in 2008 NCAA Championship Super Six competition. Florida's 2009 season begins Friday, Jan. 9 when No. 10 Oklahoma comes to town. Meet time is set for 7 p.m. in the O'Connell Center. Photos by Casey Brooke Lawson
