OMAHA, Neb. — The Florida baseball took batting practice for an hour on Friday at TD Ameritrade Park and signed autographs for fans before returning to the team hotel to prepare for the 2011 Men's College World Series opening ceremonies.
Sophomore Brian Johnson and Austin Maddox participated in workouts after missing the last 2 weeks with injuries. Head coach Kevin O'Sullivan participated in a press conference with Texas coach Augie Garrido, Vanderbilt coach Tim Corbin and North Carolina coach Mike Fox.
